Privacy Policy
UTM Campaign Toolkit is built to be private by default. This page explains, in plain language, exactly what happens to your data.

The short version
The URL builder runs entirely in your web browser. The campaign names, links, and parameters you enter are never sent to us or stored on any server. There are no user accounts, and we do not sell, rent, or share your data — because we don't collect it in the first place.
Information processed in your browser
When you use the builder, the values you type are processed locally to generate a tagged URL and, optionally, a QR code. This happens on your device. To make the tool more convenient, a history of your recent campaigns is saved in your browser'slocalStorage. This data:
- stays on the device and browser you used;
- is never transmitted to us or any third party;
- can be cleared at any time from within the tool or by clearing your browser storage.
Information we collect automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider may record standard, non-identifying server logs (such as the requested page, a coarse timestamp, and a truncated or anonymized IP address) for security and reliability. These logs are not used to build profiles of individuals and are not linked to the campaign data you enter in the builder.
Cookies and tracking
We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. The tool relies only onlocalStorage for the recent-campaigns feature described above, which is a technical requirement of the feature rather than a tracking mechanism.
Third-party platforms
We reference platforms such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Meta to help you tag links correctly. We are not affiliated with these companies, and visiting or linking to them is governed by their own privacy policies, not ours.
Email communications
If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to send (such as your email address and message). We use it solely to respond to you and do not add you to any marketing list.
Data retention
Because your campaign data lives only in your browser, you control its retention entirely — it persists until you clear it. Any email correspondence is retained only as long as needed to resolve your enquiry.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Since the tool itself holds no personal data on our servers, the primary control is in your own hands: clearing your browser storage removes everything the tool has saved. For any email correspondence, contact us to request deletion.
Children's privacy
This tool is intended for professional and general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the tool evolves. When we do, we'll revise the "last updated" date above. Significant changes will be reflected here on this page.
